Voicemail (August 23, 3007)

I just happened to pick up a copy of Knoxville Voice in Harby’s Pizza today. I was interested in the Trail of Tears article and after reading that, I turned to the commentary “Truth to Power” by Don Williams. I enjoyed the article for several reasons: (1), I grew up in that area and know it well, and (2), my wife and I spent a week there July 4th week, visited family and enjoyed the atmosphere of “Edislow” living very much. We also spent a week there Christmas of 2005 with our children, grandchildren and my brother-in-law and his wife. Don, you need to visit Whaley’s for a bucket of oysters the next time you are at Edisto.
